I created The Mad Black Woman LLC in November 2024. I was inspired after discussing my rage and fears towards all the political unrest, and was told by a former colleague that my feelings were irrational and I should remain neutral. Well neutrality is for cowards. If you want to make change, you’ll pick a side and stand with it. Preaching neutrality in the face of the most extreme oppression this country has seen in years is crazy work. The rights of humans are far more important than the feelings of fascists. So I rejected neutrality and embraced the Mad Black Woman this person framed me to be. Because there is A LOT to be angry about! If you’re not mad, you’re not paying attention! That rage is why I created this brand, why I draw these designs, why I spread awareness for causes I believe in.

This brand is for all the Black woman who needed to be heard and understood, but were silenced. This brand is for all the people who want to amplify Black voices that are actively being erased. This brand is for me, and all the other people who have made to feel like the Mad Black Woman.
